Brief:
Like many new builds, our customer’s property had a rear garden that was a simple grassed area with no character.
We were requested to landscape and transform the garden of a newly constructed house in Fetcham, Surrey. There was only a basic garden and a small wooded area to the other side of the property. Our brief was to take this blank canvas and create a landscaped garden, making excellent use of the different areas within it.
Project:
We created a terraced lawn with oak railway sleeper retaining walls. An adult dining area with arbour and outdoor stone kitchen was sited on a new patio.
For the children’s garden we built a very large raised deck with slide, fireman’s pole, rock climbing wall and their very own zip wire. A Barbecue Garden Lodge, as seen at a recent Chelsea Flower Show, was installed on top of the deck.
We installed a nest swing at the far end of the garden which added a nice finishing touch.
